BETWEEN LAND AND SEA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The CAP BOURBON venture began in 1998 through the partnership of two family-owned businesses united by a shared spirit of innovation: the Le Garrec family shipping company\u2014specializing in large-scale Atlantic and North Sea fishing and a pioneer in distant-water fishing\u2014and SOPESUD, a R\u00e9union-based operator of longliners targeting tuna and swordfish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in Le Port, R\u00e9union, CAP BOURBON owns one freezer longliner: the *Cap Kersaint*,<\/a><\/strong> a state-of-the-art vessel built in 2016 incorporating feedback from the crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Committed to long-term investment and strengthening its local presence, the company continues to expand its operations, offering tailored cold storage services for frozen food products<\/strong>. It also operates a processing <\/strong>facility for packaging and marketing seafood products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
