Through its Reunion-based facility, Océane Production, CAP BOURBON controls the entire value chain—from fishing to processing—ensuring the packaging, value enhancement, and full traceability of seafood products, from the moment of capture at sea to their arrival on local and international markets.

Specializing in cutting, filleting, trimming, skinning, freezing, smoking, bagging, and labeling, the Océane Production team was trained in Réunion in the most demanding techniques. Each service is carried out according to client specifications (fishing companies, wholesalers, fishmongers, restaurateurs, private-label retailers, etc.) to ensure consistent, tailor-made quality. The facility notably handles fixed-weight packaging, guaranteeing distributors uniform, traceable, and retail-ready products with consistent weights and prices.

A unique certification in Réunion

Since 2019, Océane Production has held the MSC eco-label for the processing of products from sustainable fisheries, including MSC-certified Patagonian toothfish. It is currently the only processing facility in Réunion to hold this certification.

Products for the people of Réunion and for export

Products for the people of Réunion and for export: Océane Production currently offers over 21 product lines, 11 of which carry the “Nou La Fé” label—a mark of recognition for local expertise. The products are distributed in supermarkets and retail stores under the CAP BOURBON brand, following storage in the company’s EC-certified cold storage facility. While the business primarily targets the local market, the facility is also equipped for export and already holds certification for shipping to China.
